Cardi B surrendered to the police Monday morning for her role in a strip club fight that took place in August, according to news reports.
NBC New York reports that the “Be Careful” rapper turned herself into a Queens precinct around 10 a.m. Monday. She covered her face from photographers as she made her way into the precinct.
Cardi, whose birth name is Belcalis Almánzar, is facing charges for her role in ordering an attack on two bartenders, Jade and Baddie Gi, while visiting the Angels Strip Club in New York in August, TMZ reports. The two victims, who are sisters, claim that Cardi believed Jade had slept with her husband Offset.
According to Variety, the two women refused medical treatment for their injuries.
Cardi will be facing misdemeanor charges for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, according to the NYPD. Although she will not be arrested, the rapper will have to appear in court.
This is not the only fight Cardi has been in recent months. She caused a spectacle at New York Fashion Week last month when she attempted to attack Nicki Minaj at a Harper’s Bazaar event. She was photographed leaving with a large bruise over her eye, wearing a ripped dress and no shoes.
Despite the drama, the rapper is keeping busy. She performed at New York’s Global Citizen Festival last weekend, marking her first live set since giving birth to her daughter, Kulture.
