Soulful R&B songstress Carmen Rodgers and Anthony David’s electryfing chemistry is as beautiful to watch as they are to to listen to.
The Atlanta-based Rodgers enlists fellow R&B crooner David for “Charge,” a video she describes as “sensual, sexy and magnetic.”
“This song and video shows two lovers comfortable in their transparency to one another, flaws and all,” she adds, describing the track as on of her favorites from her album, Stargazer.
The video begins with gentle strumming on a guitar as David sings, “Looking at you, the world never knew, about me and you.” Rodgers jumps in with a hearty alto, as she sketches an image of the two on a sketch pad. The video withholds a poetic element, as Rodgers and David harmonize together in a riveting embrace.
