There has been an outpouring of love and condolences from celebrities worldwide following the death of Kim Porter on Thursday.
The model and actress was found dead in her Los Angeles home after suffering from cardiac arrest, TMZ reports. She was 47. It is still not clear what caused her death, though there are reports that she had been suffering through a bout of pneumonia in recent days.
Hundreds of celebrities, from movie stars to musicians, spoke about her sweet personality, and her kindness to anyone she met. Those who knew her personally also reminisced about how she was a great mother to Quincy, her son with Al B Sure; and Christian, D’Lila and Jessie James, her children with Diddy.
“I miss you why did u leave I love you,” said LaurieAnn Gibson, choreographer and longtime Diddy associate, who shared a personal video of Porter dancing.
Other celebs to remember Porter include Janelle Monáe, who credits the actress with discovering her and connecting her with Diddy, who eventually signed her.
“Kim meant so much to so many , but to me…she was the woman who single-handedly changed our lives,” Monae wrote in a touching post with a photo from 2007.
