After years of not-so-positive publicity, Blac Chyna says she’s ready to change…and she’s starting with the woman in the mirror.
The social media star and mom of two posted an Instagram confession declaring that she’s not proud of her past actions, and feels she’s been cast in the wrong light.
Ultimately, Chyna says she wants to shed the negativity associated with her past, and let folks in to see the real her. “Over the last couple of years, you guys have been given a perspective of who I am from the media and people closest to me,” Chyna shared in a typed message. “I’ve been bullied, humiliated, manipulated and discredited as a mom!… Of course I’m not proud of some of the pain I have caused, and I am working to be the best me.”
Chyna, who shares a six-year-old son King with rapper Tyga and a two-year-old daughter, Dream, with Rob Kardashian, has had her fair share of public drama. The dancer-turned-entrepreneur was engaged in a social media war with Kardashian after the breakup. Since then, they’ve each apologize and are co-parenting peacefully.
Chyna also received flack some months ago for endorsing a skin lightening product called “Whitenicious” based in Nigeria. Reps for Chyna stated that the product was designed to help manage hyper-pigmentation.
Now that the dust has settled, Chyna appears to be focusing on increasing the bag and spending time with King and Dream. On Easter, she posted several photos with her children as they hunted for Easter eggs.
Can’t knock a girl for trying to do better!
