It can be tough out here for child stars. Hollywood can be ruthless and it can be hard for kids to grow up in the spotlight. Some struggle to maintain their fame and others bow out.
The most common stories about child stars, unfortunately, have often been ones about kids who spiraled out of control. We all know the Orlando Browns and Marcus T. Paulks of the world, but there are many kids who go on to have perfectly normal lives, dabbling in acting or pursuing other things. From Kyla Pratt to Fresh Prince‘s little Nicky, here are 11 child stars with pretty normal lives.

Kyla Pratt
The One on One and Proud Family star has never made the news for any sort of tabloid issue and that’s because Pratt doesn’t want to disappoint her mom. Recently, Pratt revealed, “I’ve always wanted to make my mother proud. I grew up watching my mom do stage plays. I never wanted to disappoint my mom because my mother is one of my best friends. I’m not perfect, I’ve done crazy stuff but I’ve never been an attention seeker.”
