There’s been much debate in the writers’ room about the use of the N-word on the hip-hop soap opera Empire. Now, Empire star Taraji P. Henson has come forward saying no way to use of the derogatory word.
“That would just piss people off,” she told TMZ. Her co-star, Terrence Howard has been vocal about his desire for the word to be used on the show to increase Empire‘s “street cred.” Where do you side? [TMZ]
After being awarded $7.4 million for copyright infringement of “Blurred Lines,” Marvin Gaye’s family is taking a closer listen to some of Pharrell Williams’ other songs. Some menbers of the Gaye family are starting to think the summer smash “Happy” sounds a lot like Gaye’s song “Ain’t That Peculiar.”
