Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid will reportedly receive less than expected after settling lawsuits with the NFL.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Kaepernick and Reid will receive less than $10 million from the settlement after the pair accused the league of colluding to keep them from playing football.
It was reported last month that the pair had reached a settlement, but details of the agreement remained confidential until today. It was previously believed that the pair would only settle if they received a lucrative deal.
Both attorneys for the athletes and the NFL shared statements supporting the settlement after it was announced.
