Destiny’s Child just pulled off a show-stopping reunion in the middle of Beyonce’s iconic Coachella performance last week.
And now it appears that former member Farrah Franklin wants to be part of the action again after seeing Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams do their thing on stage.
According to TMZ, Franklin is keen on being apart of any future Destiny’s Child reunions. She was a member of the group for six months in 2000, a time that’s commemorated with her appearance in the iconic ”Say My Name” video.
“I wouldn’t expect it to be honest because they’ve been doing things for a while,” she said on if she would ever be asked to join the group for a reunion. “But I’m just happy to hear the music.”
She added: “It’s a blessing just to have been apart of the situation at all. But if the opportunity arose, I wouldn’t say no. But until then, I am just working on my own stuff.”
Franklin told VladTV in a 2015 interview that she left the group primarily because of her problems with management—more specifically, the group’s manager and Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles.
But now years later, she is praising the current trio for their Coachella performance, saying that she was jamming along to it just like the rest of us.
“They killed it. You can’t deny the performance and love between the girls.”
It seems like it’s all love from Franklin!
