If you think Kanye West totally dissed Taylor Swift in his new song “Famous,” think again. Yeezy claims to have gotten her blessing before releasing the track.
The song, which is featured on his new album, The Life of Pablo, includes a line in which the rapper says he “might have sex” with Swift because he credits himself for making “that b-tch famous.”

Many music critics and fans were up in arms over what some called “misogynistic lyricism” but the rapper took to Twitter to clarify his artistic liberties.
3rd thing I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings
5th thing I’m not even gone take credit for the idea… it’s actually something Taylor came up with …

The Swift camp is vehemently denying having heard the track before its debut.
A rep for the 1989 singer has said that “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single “Famous” on her Twitter account,” TMZ reports. “She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”
Only time will tell whose truth will prevail.
