The first ‘New and Next’ concert celebrating emerging artists kicked off at the ESSENCE Music Festival on Thursday night at the New Orleans Superdome. Live acts included young rapper Diggy Simmons, popular teen group OMG Girlz, Disney star Coco Jones (pictured), rising artist Nefatari Katlyn Nichols and more.
