Looking for ideas to commemorate International Women’s Day on March 8? Secretary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton and the Clinton Foundation’s No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project have created a novel way for you to share the story of a phenomenal woman who has made a positive impact in your life.
What do you have to do? It’s easy. Change your profile picture on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to a woman you find heroic and help share her story with the world. It can be your mom, Maya Angelou or anyone who has made an impact on you and the world.
Why? #NoCeilings is charting the progress women and girls have made over the last twenty years since the 1995 UN World Conference on Women in Beijing, and the gaps that remain. The full participation of women and girls is critical to global progress, development and security. As we celebrate remarkable women change agents this month, let’s not forget the challenges that still exist, and remember the women who will get us all there.
How long? Use your social profile all day Saturday to make a statement about an important woman in history or your own life. #NoCeilings. Men are invited to change their profiles too.
