Looks like the upcoming Michel’le biopic, Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le, is already stirring up drama.
TMZ reports that Dr. Dre is threatening to sue Sony over his depiction in the film as an abusive boyfriend. In the upcoming Lifetime movie, Dre is allegedly seen physically assaulting Michel’le. The two were together for six years in the early 90s and in numerous interviews leading up to the film, Michel’le has opened up about the abuse she received.
She told The Breakfast Club, “When he gave me my very first black eye, we laid in the bed and cried. He was crying and I was crying because I was in shock, hurt and in pain. I don’t know why he was crying, but he said ‘I’m really sorry.’ That was the only time he ever said he was really sorry.”

Dre’s lawyers have sent Sony a cease and desist letter claiming that she never hinted at abuse or sought help from police or medical attention.
The mogul is threatening to sue Sony if the movie airs. According to sources, the film allegedly depicts Dre pulling Michel’le’s hair, pulling a gun on her, and punching her in the face.
The movie is set to premiere this Saturday, Oct. 15.
