At the 2018 ESSENCE Fest in New Orleans, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott took the stage during The Roots’ mainstage showcase and the crowd went wild. The Dallas and Philadelphia natives shared the stage, swapping vocals and keeping the crowd energized. They had so much fun together and fans could really feel the love between the longtime friends.
This isn’t the first time the two singers have graced a stage together, but it’s sure to become one of the most iconic moments. Their undeniable chemistry, fashion flyness and sensational combined sounds left the Superdome crowd rocking throughout the entire set.
