A southern boy at heart, Pressley was born and raised in Mauldin, South Carolina, and today he calls The Woodlands, Texas home. “It’s very nice,” he tells us. “I love living here. It’s a suburb about 30 miles north of Houston with lots of amenities, golf courses, walking trails and parks. It’s ‘the Burbs’ but a convenient commute into the city.”
Pressley adores his current digs. “I like the scenery and atmosphere,” he says. “It’s beautiful. The Woodlands has tons of tall pines. It pretty much stays green all year round. In the summer, the beautiful trees provide a canopy from the sun.”
“I am blessed to have had two loving parents that instilled in me the importance of setting goals and working hard,” says Pressley. “They always supported me and provided me with the resources that I needed to succeed.”
The doc has very fond memories of his childhood in South Carolina. “I loved playing on team sports,” he recalls. “I played basketball and ran track.” We see staying fit at a young age really did his body some good.”
Natural jock Pressley earned a full scholarship to the University of South Carolina to run for the Gamecocks.
Pressley doesn’t live close by his parents anymore, but they’re always on his mind and they remain super close. “We try to talk on the phone several times a week,” he admits. “My parents have always been supportive of all my activities.”
Pressley’s body is truly a work of art. From his bulging biceps to his washboard abs, it’s clear he doesn’t miss a moment in the gym.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina and Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, Pressley took a job in Virginia as an associate in a very busy practice. “I worked under a great dentist and mentor who taught me about the clinical as well as the business side of dentistry,” he tells us.
Pressley wows us from every single angle. Is it getting hot in here?
“I love helping people.,” Pressley reveals. “That is the main reason that I went into medicine. I work in a space that is five inches from your brain and five inches from your heart. I take my work and my patients very seriously.”
“What inspires me most is my family,” says Pressley. “I work hard to provide for them. In life, each day is an opportunity.”
“I go to the gym eight days a week,” says Pressley. “No, seriously, I try to get 4-5 days in each week. I try to take two days off, but it’s very hard since I love to train so much.”
“My workout tricks are simpl,” says Pressley. “No secrets. No rules. No gimmicks. I am just consistent. I work hard and eat clean every day. I stick to traditional movements like bench press, squats, deadlifts and presses. They work, but you have to stick to a regimen. You have to train even on days when you don’t feel like training.”
Can you believe Pressley is a dancer too? Well, sort of. “I love to salsa dance,” he admits. “I have been dancing salsa since I was a teenager. I just love Latin music…the rhythm, the drums and the horns; the whole experience.”
There’s an arm party going on in this picture, ladies, and it looks like we’re all invited. (Swoon!)
We could watch Pressley do push-ups all day! Quick, someone turn on the A/C—the heat is on in here!
“I also enjoy competing in the NPC in Men’s Physique,” says Pressley. “Win or lose, I enjoy the journey of preparing for a competition. I enjoy dieting and working out in efforts to be the best me I can be.”
Is it just us, or is Pressley’s stare ultra dreamy?
Confession time: “Deep down, I enjoy romantic comedies,” says Pressley. “There, I’ve said it!” Don’t worry, love. No judgments here!
“The coolest place that I have traveled would have to be to Venezuela,” says Pressley. “In dental school, we did two mission trips there for two weeks. Those experiences changed my life forever. I encountered people who truly were in need and I was blessed to have the opportunity to help them.”
