Show: Almost Human. Airs: Series premieres Nov. 4 on FOX Why We Can’t Wait: Ealy looks good doing just about anything. Plus, the brother can act too! It’s 35 years in the future and Ealy plays Dorian, a part-human, part-robot android cop who was “discontinued” because he showed too many human emotions. Dorian is given a second chance and a new partner and we’re looking forward to seeing how Ealy makes such a unique role his own.
Show: Hell on Wheels Airs: Saturdays at 9pm EST on AMC. Why We’re Loving It: Common reprises his role as emancipated slave Elam Ferguson, who’s armed with a gun and a badge. It’s a compelling role and Common owns every second he’s onscreen, all the while showing off his unique brand of signature swag.
Show: Scandal Airs: Season 3 premieres October 3 at 10pm EST Why We Can’t Wait: Like the rest of the world, we just can get enough of Scandal. Plus, watching Short’s fast-talking attorney Harrison Wright (in those sexy suits!) prove time-and-time again that he’s truly a ride or die kind of guy, really makes our Thursdays.
When dreamy doc Jackson Avery walks the halls at his hospital on Grey’s Anatomy, he’s guranteed to steam your screens. Plus, he’s known to partake in a shirtless romp in the break room every now and then too, and who would want to miss that? The new season is back and we’re loving every second of it.
Show: Ironside Airs: Series premieres Oct. 2 at 10pm EST Why We Can’t Wait: In his new show, veteran TV actor Underwood plays tough-as-nails, wheelchair-bound detective Robert Ironside who’s determined to stop crime in the city, even if he has to play by his own rules. He’s one of the good guys, so that will make it that much easier for us to root for him all the way.
Show: Grey’s Anatomy Airs: New season premieres on Sept. 26 at 9pm EST Why We Can’t Wait: Over the summer, Charles’s character, Dr. Shane Ross, was promoted to “season regular” status on the hit medical drama, which means we’ll get to see lots more of his lovely face and we’re ready!
After his character, Dr. Gallant, was killed off in the war on ER back in 2006, we missed Atkins’ face. He teased us again playing a telepath in The 4400, but when that was cancelled, we weren’t sure where we’d see him next. Until, we found White Collar, where he plays Special Agent Clinton Jones.
Michael Jai White (middle) reprises his role as Angela’s husband Marcus and things are just as complicated as ever for him both at home and work. Kent Faulcon (right) and Jason Olive return as Richard Ellington and Joseph Jetson, who are Marcus’ co-workers on his sports show. The comedy, which originally debuted on TBS, calls OWN home these days.
