“I like a woman who knows what she wants,” says Los Angeles based fitness coach Cornelius “Corey” Atkins. “And physically I dig a woman who has a sexy and confident walk.” Well sir, we dig you!
Atkins loves his new home in California. “I like that it’s quiet, clean and nice,” he tells us. “It’s also convenient. I’m surrounded by great restaurants, bakeries and other places to shop. It’s not too far from where everything is happening.”
“I have always been athletic and into health and fitness,” says Atkins. “I’ve always played ball, lifted weights and got my cardio in throughout the week. I also try to maintain a healthy diet.”
“Moral strength in a woman is sexy,” says Atkins. “Intelligence is also a turn-on. And, man, do I have a huge appreciation for an independent woman.”
“Physically I dig a woman who has a sexy and confident walk,” Atkins admits. “I like it when a woman takes care of herself; keeps her hair and nails done. A enjoy a woman who just has an all-around great sense of style.”
“I’m very understanding, very patient and kind-hearted,” says Atkins.
“Most importantly, I believe in God and in me,” says Atkins.
“I’m strong-willed and goal-oriented,” says Atkins. “I’m confident, but not cocky. I’m not so bad on the eyes, but I’m humble and funny.”
“I appreciate a woman who knows what she wants,” says Atkins. “I like a woman with drive; a strong-willed woman and a woman of principle.”
Atkins says that something some people may not guess about him is that he’s part Irish. “My grandfather’s mother was Irish and Black,” he shares.
Atkins can throw down in the kitchen, ladies. “My favorite meal to prepare is lasagna,” he tells us. “I cook all of my food — grilled chicken, grilled steak, baked sweet potatoes, etc.”
Atkins spends his Friday nights playing basketball or hanging out with friends.
“The bravest thing I’ve ever done was leave my established lifestyle in Milwaukee to pursue a career in music in L.A.,” says Atkins. “There were no guarantees and no financial assistance; just faith, hope and belief.”
“I haven’t done nearly as much traveling as I plan to,” Atkins admits.
“I enjoy getting to know and having a conversation with a woman who interests me, so the perfect first date has to be somewhere we can really talk,” says Atkins.
“If I come across the right woman and the chemistry is undeniable, I won’t fight love,” Atkins shares.
