Ladies, we hope you have a sweet tooth, because chocolate delight Lance Gross and caramel cutie Robbie Jones are coming to the big screen. In Temptation, the men fight for the love of leading lady Jurnee Smollett-Bell, who’s married to Gross but has an ilicit affair with Jones. NAACP Image Award winning actor Gross’ star has been on the rise for quite some time. He’s best known for his starring role in the TBS sitcom Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and all of the famed director’s Meet the Browns films.
Born Robert Lee Jones III, the actor, 35, is best known for playing Quentin Fields on the CW’s hit series One Tree Hill.
Gross is an HBCU alum. He once ruled the school at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he earned a bachelor’s degree and was very active in theater and entertainment on campus.
In 2010, Jones starred as a series regular on The CW’s Hellcats. He played the character Lewis Flynn.
Not many men can rock a fedora as well as Gross does. He’s frequently spotted on and off the red carpet wearing a trendy trilby hat.
Unlike Gross, Jones spent his collegiate years on the Left Coast. He was born in Oxnard, California and attended University of California at Berkeley, where he played for the California Golden Bears men’s basketball team for four years.
After graduating from Howard, Gross trained at The Ivanna Chubbuck Studio for acting and the Tasha Smith Acting Studio.

In 2010, cutie-pie Gross starred alongside veteran actors Regina King and Forest Whitaker in the romantic comedy Our Family Wedding. He played a romantic guy who whisked the woman of his dreams off her feet, but faced difficulties trying to win over her family.

Gross could have become a professional track and field star but instead decided to set his sights on Hollywood to pursue his acting dreams.
Jones has only been in the business for five years, but you wouldn’t know it from his resume. In addition to starring as a series regular on two popular evening dramas, he has also appeared on popular shows like ER, Southland, 90210 and Necessary Roughness.
Gross is too hot to be single, and you know it. He’s currently dating stylist Rebecca Jefferson, and although wedding bells aren’t ringing just yet—in a recent interview with TheYBF.com he revealed that things are good between then. “I’m comfortable where I am,” he said. “We’re in a great place, we’re in love, just taking it slow.”
