Remy Ma is a new mom!
The Love & Hip Hop star gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, her first child with husband Papoose. The rapper announced the birth via Instagram on Friday evening.
“The Golden Child is here!!!” Remy captioned her announcement. “Thank you @papoosepapoose for making me the happiest wife on the planet.”
Papoose was right by his wife’s side throughout her “tough labor,” even getting on Instagram at one point to ask for prayers of support.
“My wife is still fighting through it,” he wrote. “She’s a warrior!”
The good news comes following the couple’s struggles and unfortunate miscarriage experience on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop. They announced their pregnancy in July while also renewing their vows after a decade of marriage.
Remy has one child of her own, Jayson, from a previous relationship, as well as three stepchildren with Papoose.
The couple has yet to share the baby’s name, though the newborn has been nicknamed the “golden child” throughout the pregnancy.
