It’s a known fact that Idris Elba will forever be bae and the man of our dreams. Sadly we will have to let our dream guy go, because he has a new lady in his life and it’s serious.
While promoting his new film, The Mountain Between Us, the British hearthrob let it slip that he does indeed have a new girlfriend.

“I have a girlfriend,” Elba confessed to Refinery 29. “You saw me with Sabrina [Dhowre].”
The 45-year-old met the former 2014 Miss Vancouver on the set of the movie, which hits theaters October 6th, and the couple made their first red carpet appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival.
“I met her during the filiming of The Mountain Between Us,” he said of the 29-year-old Canadian beauty.
According to Page Six, Elba and his new love, Dhowre, have been together for seven months now, and given the actor’s notoriously private view on his personal life, this relationship could be a serious one.
“It’s believed Idris and Sabrina have been dating for around seven months,” the source said. “They’re having a great time getting to know each other and Idris feels strongly enough about Sabrina for them to be talked about in public. Having her on his arm on a red carpet shows how serious he is about her as he doesn’t do these things lightly. He usually likes to keep that side of his life private but he’s proud to show Sabrina off on his arm. It’s been a different story for Sabrina, who has uploaded several pictures of Idris to her Snapchat account.”
During his ESSENCE 2017 August cover story, the actor revealed that he had no intentions of ever marrying again, but who knows, maybe Sabrina will be the lucky lady to change his mind.
