Grammy and Academy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson is a fan of Issa Rae’s Insecure and recently revealed to Cosmopolitan that she’d like to guest star on the HBO hit.
In a Q&A for the magazine, Hudson also dished on her dream co-star—Jennifer Lawrence—and describe previous co-stars Beyoncé and Taraji P. Henson as “sisterly” and “homegirl.”
Hudson worked with Beyoncé on 2006’s Dreamgirls, her breakout role. Later, she appeared on the Lee Daniels hit Empire, where she worked with Henson.
Insecure already has a stellar cast of talented ladies, but we could see Hudson stepping in as Molly’s therapist as her search for one seems never-ending.
Hudson is currently set to star in the upcoming film Monster and fans can always catch her on reality singing competition The Voice.
