Jordyn Woods is speaking her truth after being publicly shamed and harassed online following recent reports that she hooked up with NBA player Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True.
Woods appeared on Red Table Talk, where she opened up to Jada Pinkett Smith about what really went down.
Woods told Pinkett that she went to a party at Thompson’s house and on the way to leave he kissed her.
“On the way out, he did kiss me. No passion. It was like a kiss on the lips. I don’t think he’s wrong either because I allowed myself to be in that position and when alcohol is involved, people make dumb moves or people get caught up in the moment.”
Woods added rumors that she gave Thompson a lap dance are untrue.
“Never once was I giving him a lap dance, making out with him, sitting all over him. Never once did we leave the public area, go to a bedroom, go to a bathroom. We’re all in plain sight.”
Woods has been close to the Smiths since childhood. Her father worked as a producer on Fresh Prince.
Will Smith dialed into the show to support Woods, telling her, “Hey listen – that table has mythical cleansing and healing powers…What I want to say is that, the world attacks. It just happens, and you’ll never get around the world attacking. I want you to know that you are supported, and I got you, and we got you.”
Following her interview, Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to lash out at Woods, however, those who have been following the situation were not having it.
Truthfully, at the end of the day, Woods is a 21-year-old who made a mistake. However, the backlash and reaction from Kardashian has blown the situation way out of proportion.
Kardashian’s decision to publicly lash out at her and not her cheating partner—who, by the way, was allegedly spotted with another woman shortly after the scandal broke—says more about her than it does about Woods.
