Wyoming officials have denied Kanye West a permit to build an amphitheater on his ranch near Cody.
Cody Enterprise reports that the decision came after West changed plans for the structure, adding residential space. Officials also demanded that West cease construction immediately after discovering that a considerable amount of work had already been done.
Kane Morris of Point Architects has since apologized, adding that West addressed the issue as soon as he changed his mind about the structure and will stop work on the site.
West was ordered earlier this year to tear down domes built on his Calabasas property in California after neighbors complained about noise, and a state inspector determined that the domes violated building code.
The rapper had planned to use the domes to generate affordable housing.
