The Golden State Warriors are going to be a man short if the championship team ever get an invite to the White House, because Kevin Durant is not coming along.
The MVP told ESPN on Thursday, “Nah, I won’t do that. I don’t respect who’s in office.”
“I don’t agree with what he agrees with, so my voice is going to be heard by not doing that,” Durant further explained. “That’s just me personally, but if I know my guys well enough, they’ll all agree with me.”
The Warriors have not been extended an invitation to the White House, but after winning the 2017 NBA Championship but it’s hard to imagine anyone accepting an invitation — other than neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
