Lauren London is speaking out for the first time since losing the love of her life.
In a heartbreaking Instagram post on Tuesday evening, the actress mourned the loss of her partner and youngest son’s father, Nipsey Hussle, for the first time publicly since news of the rapper’s untimely death broke on Sunday afternoon.
“I am completely lost. I’ve lost my best friend,” she wrote in a caption accompanying a series of photos featuring the late rap star and beloved community entrepreneur with his family.
An outpouring of support for London, as well as Hussle’s family and friends, has continued to spread across the Internet in the days since his murder. Close celebrity friends of the couple and thousands of heartbroken fans have paused to share fond memories of the impact Hussle left through his music and his widespread mission to better the South Central Los Angeles community he called home.
London and Hussle share 2-year-old son, Kross, and are also both parents to children from previous relationships.
The 33-year-old entertainer was fatally shot on Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of his clothing and merchandise store, The Marathon, in Los Angeles. Police have since arrested 29-year-old Eric Holder, who is suspected to be the gunman who opened fire on Hussle and two others following a reported confrontation earlier in the day.
