In January, Lauryn Hill was held to the fire for showing up three hours late to Pittsburgh’s Heinz Hall for a performance. By the time the singer arrived, there was a line of attendees waiting for refunds.
Lauryn apologized for her lateness saying, “members of my crew, were stuck at LGA airport all day.” She also promised to do another show on Feb 27 for ticket-holders at half off the price.
But the make-up show never happened.
On Friday (Feb 24) Live Nation Pittsburgh posted on Facebook: “Due to a scheduling conflict, Ms. Lauryn Hill’s performance at the Byham Theater has been moved to Friday, June 2. All tickets purchased for the February 27 show will be valid for the new date.”
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Live Nation and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust have no further comment on the reason for the last-minute scheduling conflict.
“Lauryn Hill may be a legend but she’s been mad unprofessional lately,” reads a comment on Twitter. “People pay good money to see her and she shows up late or cancels..”

But apparently, this isn’t the first time Lauryn has cancelled a make-up concert.
According to WHAS11, a September 13 Louisville, KY concert was postponed for December 15. But days before the second date, she cancelled again.
