Over the weekend Ms. Lauryn Hill closed out the Kaya Fest, a two-day music event that features “reggae-influenced artists to celebrate one love, unity, peace and ‘overstanding.’”
This year’s concert featured the Marley brothers — Ziggy, Damian, Stephen, Julian, and Ky-mani — in addition to guests like Cypress Hill. While the show featured stirring performances, after the show, two stars reunited and had films fans swooning.
Acclaimed actor Sheryl Lee Ralph took in the sights and sounds of the festival, and afterward, reunited with her Sister Act 2 co-star, Ms. Hill.
The pair posed for an adorable picture backstage that had us crossing our fingers for a sequel, and Ralph couldn’t stop gushing about her on-screen daughter.
“What a magical moment I had seeing Miss Lauryn Hill last night close out @kayafest,” the veteran actor wrote on Instagram. “She looks amazing, she sounds amazing and what beautiful children she has!! We still have that Mother Daughter vibe!”
