Love & Hip Hop star Shay Johnson is seeking prayers from her fans after being hospitalized over the weekend.
The reality star shared a video of herself laying in a hospital bed, wearing a hospital cap and gown, while being attended to by nurses. She captioned the video, “Pray for me!”
Johnson explained in a series of videos on her Instagram Story that she was being given a blood transfusion.
“Now I have to have a blood transfusion because my blood is low. I’m dizzy. So I have to have a blood transfusion,” she explained as she drew her hoodie around herself in one of the videos.
Johnson didn’t detail just yet why exactly she landed in the hospital.
Johnson’s Love & Hip Hop Miami co-star Amara La Negra might not have been able to physically be at her friend’s bedside, but she had her back online.
When trolls made rude statements about Johnson, and even implied that she was faking her illness, La Negra set them straight.
“She really does have a health issue for those making fun of her,” she wrote in the comments on The Shade Room.
La Negra even suggested that Johnson’s hospitalization wasn’t an isolated situation. “Only if ya’ll really knew what she been thru smh,” she hinted.
