In news that shocked the music world, rapper Mac Miller has reportedly died of a drug overdose. He was 26.
TMZ reports that Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, was battling substance abuse after his high-profile breakup with pop singer, Ariana Grande.
When news broke of his untimely death Friday, many Black musicians and artists took to social media to honor their colleague and friend.
Chance the Rapper wrote on Twitter, “I don’t know what to say Mac Miller took me on my second tour ever.”
