Matt Barnes seems to have landed in some trouble.
The Sacramento Kings player is at the center of a NYPD investigation after an alleged confrontation at a New York City nightclub, according to reports.

Police say they are looking for a man that chocked a woman in a club and assaulted two others when they tried to step in. According to video footage of the incident, Barnes was the culprit.
The NBA star immediately posted on Instagram that “there’s always two sides of a story,” though he did not directly deny what happened. According to TMZ, Barnes’ rep said the situation was blown out of proportion when the NBA star “butt bumped” the victim who reacted by slapping them. Barnes rep says members of the woman’s entourage then attacked him, knocking him to the ground and choking him.
“We do not believe a crime was committed,” Barnes’ attorney told the Sacramento Bee. “We are cooperating with law enforcement and are hopeful no charges will be pressed.”
