On Saturday Michael Ealy made a bold move on social media by posting a photo of his wife, Khatira Rafiqzada, with the caption #NoMuslimBan.
Khatira who is Afghanistan-American married the Think Like a Man actor in Oct 2012. While some celebrities regularly share photos of their significant others, this post is big for Ealy who has always been very private about his personal life. It’s also great to see the 43-year-old taking a public stand against President Trump‘s seven-country travel ban into the United States.
“I don’t live my life in a social way,” Ealy said about being private to Wendy Williams in a 2016 interview. “I don’t put everything out on social media. I don’t live that reality lifestyle. At the same time, I’ve always been private, ever since I was in high school. Like, people think, ‘Oh, you’re in Hollywood,’ I’m like, ‘No, no.’ If you knew me in high school, you knew. I learned then, if you want something to work, if it means that much to you, keep it to yourself.”
The couple share two children together, one 2-year-old son named Elijah and an infant baby girl. He spoke to Steve Harvey last year about his daughter soon after she was born.

“I just discovered a whole new love,” he said. ‘I’ve never ever felt this way before. I was wondering if I could love another child as much as I love my son. And what I realized, within hours of my daughter being born, not only do I love her just as much if not more.”
Glad to see this couple are standing strong during these turbulent political times.
