Want to know how our forever FLOTUS became the woman we love and admire today? You can find out this fall when Michelle Obama goes on her book tour to promote her memoir, Becoming.
The former first lady recently announced that her second book will hit bookshelves on November 13, and invited readers to join her on the tour in a video posted on her Facebook page.
“The people, and the stories and the experiences, that have helped me and shaped me, and helped me become the person that I am today,” are told in the pages of Becoming, Obama said in the video.
The Chicago native is proud of the story that she is telling in the book, she said.
“I am proud because it is candid, it is honest, it is totally and utterly me,” she said in the video. She added that she included “the bumps, the bruises, the highs, and the lows,” when telling her remarkable story.
