Since Barack and Michelle Obama stepped out of the White House in January, the two have been on a perpetual vacation. Following their political exit, the pair quickly jetted off to the Caribbean where the former president was spotted kitesurfing with Richard Branson, then they dined with Bono in New York City, before flying to French Polynesia where they reportedly worked on their individual autobiographies before hopping onto a luxury yacht with Oprah and Tom Hanks.
Safe to say the two now have enough airline points to last a lifetime. However, the Obama’s world tour didn’t stop there. On Friday, the duo landed in Milan, Italy, where Barack will participate in a global sustainable food summit and deliver a sold-out speech.
On Saturday, Michelle was spotted in Montalcino, Italy, taking in the sights with a few friends. The former first lady brought her effortless style to the European city in white distressed jeans and a striped cotton-poplin one-shoulder Teija top, along with her signature megawatt smile that she proudly shared with onlookers and well-wishers.
Michelle kept the pink theme going on Monday as she was also spotted out on a hike in Siena, Italy. There, she paired her striped black yoga pants with a matching pink top and Under Armor black hat.
But, Michelle wasn’t the only one enjoying a bit of the Italian sun over the weekend. Barack also enjoyed a bit of fresh air as he played a round of golf at the exclusive course of Castiglion del Bosco, Italy’s only private golf club set within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. No word yet on where the two will head next.
