The countdown is on!
First Lady Michelle Obama will turn 50 this Friday (with a mega bash on Saturday) and she’s looking more beautiful than ever.
But to keep her self in tip-top shape, Mrs. Obama tells People that she’s adding things to her workout routine moving forward.
“I’m seeing myself shift from weight-bearing stuff—even though that continues to be important—and the heavy cardio and running, to things like yoga that will keep me flexible,” she says. Mrs. Obama admits to taking things into her own hands to prevent “falling and breaking a hip one day.”
And though many women her age may be considering plastic surgery in the future, it’s not something on her mind… at least not for now. “Women should have the freedom to do whatever they need to do to feel good about themselves,” shared Mrs. Obama. “Right now, I don’t imagine that I would go that route, but I’ve also learned to never say never.”
