A biopic film about the legendary life of Brooklyn Dodger, Jackie Robinson, will hit theaters this spring.
The highly-anticipated movie, 42, will depict the trials and tribulations of Robinson, the first Black Major League Baseball player who changed the game forever but faced racial injustice along the way.
Chadwick Boseman will play the leading role as Jackie Robinson, while Harrison Ford will lead as Dodgers manager, Branch Rickey. Rickey is credited with giving the first African American an opportunity to play on a Major League Baseball team.
