Clear all your fall plans because Nas and Lauryn Hill are going on tour!
The rapper and singer will be joined by comedian Hannibal Buress and reggae artist, Chronixx for their tour that begins this fall.
The news comes after Nas serenaded the Grammy Award-winning singer on her birthday. The two have also worked together before, collaborating on Nas’ “If I Ruled The World.”
The tour kicks off September 7 in Chicago with stops that include Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle and Boston. The pair will visit 17 cities across the US and Canada.
Reviewing Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill back in 2013 for the albums 15th anniversary, Nas told XXL magazine, “She birthed her sound, and that’s timeless. She didn’t try to be cool, she was already cool. She didn’t have to fit in with any style, she was the new style, and it’s a positive style.”
Both artists are pioneers in their genre, so we expect this tour to be epic.
Tickets go on sale June 2 at LiveNation.com, but Tidal members will also receive access to a special pre-sale on Thursday, June 1 and Citi card members will have access to pre-sale tickets Wednesday, May 31.
