Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured tibia during Tuesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to ESPN‘s Michael Wilbon, Hayward will have surgery for the injury on Wednesday. Hayward received a standing ovation as he was taken from the court.
Activist Tamika Mallory says she was kicked off an American Airlines flight over a seat dispute. Mallory says she was traveling home when the pilot approached her over an argument she’d had with a gate agent. She told the New York Daily News, “It definitely was white male aggression. I was singled out, I was disrespected, and he was trying to intimidate me. I was discriminated against.”
