Nicki Minaj is good for a laugh on social media.
Regardless of any drama going on with her and other artists, she generally seems to be in good spirits when appealing to fans that follow her.
On Monday the “Pills n Potions” rapper shared a video of her singing along to Celine Dion’s 1996 hit “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” backstage. The 34-year-old was getting ready to hit the stage alongside Drake on the last night of his three-day stop in Paris for his Boy Meets World Tour.
The first thought we had when seeing this video was about the fanbase Celine has in Jamaica, that must translate to Trinidad where Nicki is from. But in a video posted moments before, Nicki jokes about Jamaican girls dancing, so the Celine song may be for them.
“All Jamaican girls used to make that stink face when they whining in the club,” she captions the video of her dancing. “When u bout to go on stage to the most incredible Paris audience of all time. Wow.”
Love that no matter where Nicki is, she always represents her Caribbean fans.
