Actress and comedienne Niecy Nash is enjoying much success both professionally and personally these days and happy to share what she has learned throughout her 19-year career in Hollywood.
The Getting On star is as well known for her no-nonsense relationship advice as she is for her incredibly versatile acting resume. While strolling the red carpet at this year’s ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood awards event, she was happy to offer a few more gems for the single ladies to consider for 2015. Her best advice for single women looking for love? “Know exactly what you want,” Nash. “That way, if it shows up, we are already ready. As opposed to just going along with the flow – don’t do that. Know exactly what you want and then be prepared for it.”
Nash encourages women to first look within as they begin their individual quest for love. “Be what you want to see,” says Nash. “We are going to attract what we are!” Truth.
