Nipsey Hussle’s family is continuing to find closure after the rapper was gunned down in Los Angeles back in March.
Reportedly, his children—10-year-old Emani and 3-year-old Kross—are expected to inherit $1 million each when they are of age, TMZ reports.
A judge granted Lauren London sole guardianship of her son with Hussle, Kross, and the child’s inheritance. A judge also appointed Hussle’s immediate family—including his siblings, Samantha Smith, Sam “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, and his mother, Angelique Smith—the guardians of the rapper’s daughter Emani.
The family had been in a legal battle to keep Emani away from her mother, Tanisha Foster. The family didn’t believe Foster was fit to care for her as Emani had been living with Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith, since his death.
Hussle, whose birth name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was killed on March 31 in front of his store, Marathon Clothing, in Los Angeles. He was 33.
The alleged shooter, Eric Holder, has been charged with his death. He’s currently awaiting trial.
