Offset Crashes Cardi B’s Performance To Declare His Love — And She Wasn’t Having It!

The public saga that is Offset and Cardi B’s relationship added a new chapter this weekend when the Migos rapper crashed his wife’s at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday in an attempt to win her back. Offset has been on a public campaign to win Cardi back since she first announced that the duo had broken up earlier this month. From Instagram videos declaring that he wanted her back to recruiting others in the industry to advocate on his behalf, he hasn’t been shy that he wants the mother of his child back. Offset’s latest attempt saw him coming onstage, while Cardi was performing her set, with flowers, a cake and a display with the plea “Take Me Back Cardi.” “I just wanna tell you I’m sorry bruh,” he said. “And furthermore, I love you.” But his big moment fell flat when an angry Cardi appeared to give him a piece of her mind before sending him offstage and continuing her show. The moment, captured on camera, went viral immediately.

Cardi B posted a video on Instagram earlier this month announcing to fans that she and Offset, who are proud parents to daughter Kulture, are no longer together. “So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners,” Cardi B said in the video. “He’s always somebody that I run to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault.” Although they’re no longer together romantically, Cardi says they haven’t gotten divorced just yet. Offset responded by commenting on the post, “Ya’ll won.” And although many had a lot to say in response to Offset’s most recent failed stunt, Cardi B took to her Instagram soon after to defend him. “Violating my baby father is not going to make me feel any better because at the end of the day that’s still family,” she said in a video to her fans. “Unfortunately, we are going through things.” “It became public, and I just want things to die down, I just need time so we can see eye to eye. I can’t predict the future, I don’t know,” she continued. The couple secretly wed in September 2017 in a private ceremony and confirmed the news months later in June 2018.
