OJ Simpson could be a free man come Monday.
The former NFL star is currently held in Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada, where he’s been for nine years following an armed robbery conviction.
Simpson was granted parole back in July and, of course, the internet had tons of reactions. Many of those reactions had to do with Simpson’s 1995 murder trial, in which he was accused of killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman.
The Associated Press reports that plans are being finalized for Simpson’s release with Department of Corrections spokeswoman Brooke Keast stating that documents still need to be signed and approved.
Once The Juice is loose, he will be supervised by the state Division of Parole and Probation until Sept. 29, 2022.
Now, with his release looming, all eyes will be on the former football player to see what he does next.
