Ahead of the premiere of Ava Duvernay’s MLK biopic, Selma, Oprah Winfrey hosted “Celebrating Selma & The Legends Who Paved The Way,” a star-studded brunch bringing together today’s celebrities and Civil Rights icons, including ambassador Andrew Young, Diane Nash, Juanita Jones Abernathy, Joseph Lowery, Myrlie Evers-Williams, Marian Wright Edelman and Rev. C.T. Vivian, Congressman John Lewis, Julian Bond, Sidney Poitier, Quincy Jones, Dick Gregory, and Berry Gordy.
