We’ve always known President Barack Obama to be a pretty smooth dude, and once again he proves he has swag for days. With the release of his annual summer playlist nighttime edition, POTUS doesn’t disappoint.
Revealed on Thursday via his official Twitter page, the Commander-in-Chief showed off his love for R&B with a perfectly curated playlist–and with the perfect balance of new and old premium jams, this list is truly everything.

With classic cuts like D’Angelo’s “Lady,” My Funny Valentine” by Miles Davis and Floetry‘s set the mood slow-jam “Say Yes” the President doesn’t hold back from music that plays perfectly for a night in.

Also rounding out the list also features music from fellow Chicago man, Chance the Rapper with “Acid Rain,” Mary J. Blige and Method Man’s Grammy winning song “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By,” Alright by Ledisi and “If I Have My Way” by Chrisette Michele.
The 2016 Summer Playlight has nothing but heat to help set the mood and we aren’t mad at it!
We wonder what’s on FLOTUS’ nighttime setlist? A DJ rivalry between these two must be too good!
