The first posthumous release from Prince’s estate following the music legend’s death in April is slated for November.
It was revealed last week that a greatest hits collection and unreleased music were on the way, but more details have been revealed. According to Billboard, two albums are expected from the estate: Prince 4Ever and a reissue of Purple Rain. Prince 4Ever will include previously unreleased songs like “Moonbeam Levels,” which has appeared on a number of bootlegs.
A remastered deluxe edition of Purple Rain will also include unreleased music, with it being noted that the terms of the album “were agreed with Prince before he passed away.”

Prince 4Ever is expected to be released next month, while the deluxe edition of Purple Rain is expected early next year. Charles Koppelman and L. Londell McMillan, the advisers of Prince’s estate, are currently looking into proposals to license more material, which could mean fans get to hear even more unreleased songs from Prince’s vast vault of unheard music.
