Days after Pusha T credited a rouge visual producer with displaying a disrespectful message to Drake at the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival, the beef between the two rappers has escalated yet again.
Tuesday night, a group of audience members disrupted Pusha T’s “Daytona” tour performance at the Danforth Music Hall in Drake’s hometown of Toronto by tossing drinks and paint at him.
He was performing the song M.F.T.R., a track said to contain subtle jabs at the 6 God and his label mate Lil Wayne, when the items were thrown.
When one of the attackers made it onto the stage, the violation was reportedly handled swiftly by members of the the G.O.O.D. Music president’s security team.
Don’t spread these lies!!! Thats not Pusha -T getting punished on stage...👀 https://t.co/NfLX1Genwc
Pusha T refused to allow the incident to ruin the show for everyone. He made his way back to the mic and attempted to finish his set for the fans.
Ultimately though the local authorities decided to shut the concert down in the interest of public safety. In fact, Toronto Police tweeted that “numerous [people were] injured from a fight inside a concert hall.”
