Like the rest of the world, Ray J has seen the NSFW music video for Kanye West’s latest single “Famous,” and he’s not a fan.
Ray J was one of twelve celebrities to have a wax figure created for inclusion in the visual, which West said was intended to make a bold statement about fame by showing each of the naked wax figurines created in the likeness of a handful of controversial celebrities lying next to each other in a large bed.
Seemingly unaware that his likeness would be a part of the project, Ray J says it’s caused some friction between he and fianceé Princess Love.
Kanye West Might Have Anticipated Lawsuit Over ‘Famous’ Music Video
“Man, I’m just trying to stay positive. I’m engaged,” he told Entertainment Tonight during a quick chat backstage at the BET Awards on Sunday. “My marriage is all messed up ’cause of craziness. I’m not part of nothing crazy.” The entertainer-turned-reality star has found himself attached to several unfavorable media stories involving the Kardashian-West family in recent years, but he says he’s now focusing on maturing and staying on track. “I walk down a good path. My fianceé tripping. It’s all bad in my world, and that ain’t cool. Don’t put me part of nothing that’s weird, that don’t make no sense. Can I grow up?”
Meanwhile, the “Famous” video is set to premiere on E! tonight at 7pm. Kanye took to his Twitter account to announce viewings of the premiere at six different NYC locations late Monday evening.
