They’re one of the most iconic pairs in Real Housewives of Atlanta history. And when season 10 premieres this fall, Kim Zolciak-Biermann and NeNe Leakes will officially be reunited.
On Tuesday, Zolciak-Biermann confirmed the longstanding rumors that she’d be returning to the show that found her fame — telling fans on Instagram that after “many months of negotiations” she can “FINALLY” confirm her involvement.
“As of today my deal is done!” the mother of six revealed shortly before Bravo confirmed the news. “I’m coming to play with the ladies over at RHOA.”
Though she’ll be back, it won’t be in a full-time capacity since Zolciak-Biermann will continue filming her hit spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy. “Since you all have made my OWN show such a huge success, I’ve decided to continue to carry that instead of carrying a peach!” she wrote, implying she’d be in the “Friend of the Housewives” role on RHOA. “See you soon bitches! #CANTWAIT.”
In June, Leakes confirmed her return to RHOA in a similar way — posting a photo of herself to Instagram in a cleavage-bearing top and crown holding a champagne glass and a peach. “It’s been a long process but we’ve finally reached an agreement!” Leakes wrote. “All hail the Queen for season 10 of #RHOA. #thethreatisback.”
The two Housewives often had an on and off friendship on the hit Bravo show. Both a fixture on RHOA since it first premiered on Bravo in October 2008, their explosive battles are some of the most memorable moments in Housewives history — including one argument in the season 1 reunion where Leakes told Zolciak-Biermann to “close your legs to married men.”
Leakes was with the franchise for seven seasons, appearing as a guest in season 8. It is not known whether she will be returning as a full-time Housewife, friend of the Housewives or guest in season 10.
Zolciak-Biermann left RHOA halfway through season 5, storming out during a group dinner when she was 35 weeks pregnant with her son Kash Kade (who turns 5 in August). She then returned for Shereeé Whitfield’shousewarming party at the season 9 finale — where she quickly butted heads with Kenya Moore.
Asked at the time if she would consider rejoining the show for its 10th season, Zolciak-Biermann told PEOPLE she was open. “I’m very motivated by money,” she said. “Everything has a price. I’m just giving it to you straight. Given the right amount of money for anything? Yeah, count me in. I like to work. I have six children to support, so for sure!”
So does she regret leaving in the first place? “Not at all,” the wig-wearing, former nurse explained. “[RHOA] can be very combative. A lot of negativity. I just was extremely frustrated — it just was really a trying season for me. I had had enough.”
