Former Real Housewives of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida is (almost) a free man.
The former reality star has been released from Fort Dix Correctional Facility in New Jersey after serving five years and is now living in a halfway house in Philadelphia. He is expected to be there until October, according to E! News.
Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison on fraud charges back in 2014. This past March, his sentence was reduced to 84 months.
But being in prison didn’t stop him from finding love after his divorce to former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks in 2017. He is engaged to Sherien Almufti, who has appeared on an episode of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta.
Parks, with whom Nida shares two children, has yet to speak on Nida’s release.
