Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas have been at odds for quite some time – since their wedding day to be exact. Sadly, and unsurprisingly, the couple has entered divorce territory and it looks like they’re going to go through with it. The two have been separated for a while, but during an interview at ESSENCE Festival, Bailey told E! News that she and Peter’s marriage are a wrap. And BET recently reported that Bailey has opted to put she and Thomas’ former home on the market for a cool $699,000.
Now that the ATL housewife is talking about leaving Bravo’s must-see reality TV show, her soon to-be ex-husband is opening up to Wendy Williams about all their marital drama.
Are NeNe Leakes & Cynthia Bailey Really Leaving ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’?
The RHOA star appeared on The Wendy Williams Show yesterday to let fans know his side of the story in an attempt to clear up all the rumors (that make him look bad). He started by clarifying that the couple only spoke about “separation,” but he didn’t know they were going to file for divorce.
“We were separated for about five or six months. I think I’ve only seen Cynthia once – because I’m in Charlotte and she’s in Atlanta,” Peter told Wendy.
In response to Peter’s comments, Wendy said, “What I think whatever it is you’ve done to her that’s made her so pissed – that she might feel, Peter, that maybe you don’t deserve the respect of a joint statement or a phone call. Were you cheating on her wildly? Did you ever embezzle money from her?” Peter abruptly responds, saying, “Never. Never. Never.”
Peter’s interview goes on to discuss the current relationship with his stepdaughter, Noelle, and the viral video of him caressing another woman.
No one knows exactly what’s in store for these two, but Cynthia made one thing very clear to E! News, “I just don’t want to be married to Peter anymore.”
