The wait is over!
Over the years, fans have watched Solange Knowles flourish as a DJ, fashion icon and mother, but they never stopped waiting for the day she would return to the studio and give them a reason to do a little dancing in the dark. And today, they can all rejoice — the Houston native finally released her third studio album, A Seat at the Table.
Solange announced the 21-track album Tuesday, letting fans worldwide know the long awaited LP would be arriving soon. A Seat at the Table features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland, Tweet, Sampha, Sean Nicholas Savage, BJ the Chicago Kid, Q-Tip, The Dream, and more.
To commemorate the project, Solange created a photo journal and digital book for fans to browse to see her creative process and thank those who helped her along the way.
